Cargill is a American agro-industrial company with more than 150 years of experience. With 165,000 employees and benefits of $3.2 billion (2018), it is the largest non-publicly traded company in the United States. The core of its business encompasses the purchase, sale and processing of grains, agricultural goods and livestock products.
For its Food and Beverage line, it has brands such as Granja del Sol, Kimby, Perry, Delicia and others.
Our Results
Cargill buscaba, desde el año 2021, un partner con quien poder escalar sus esfuerzos digitales, para expandir sus ventas online a través de sitios de eCommerce. Balloon Group, part of FastFoward.ai, fue elegido como el partner ideal para encarar el nuevo desafío de la inmersión de las marcas en la venta digital.
El proyecto implicaba el lanzamiento de cuatro tiendas de comercio electrónico, ocho aplicaciones (una en Android y una en IOs para cada país) y en la generación de tableros y dashboards para el seguimiento de toda la operativa web.
Los tiempos del proyecto eran desafiantes, ya que la meta de llevar todo esto a cabo en menos de seis meses era sumamente ambicioso.
We developed a comprehensive e-commerce solution structured around VTEX, complemented by a series of Mobile Apps:
● Generation of four Stores: each country managed with its own currency and presenting its peculiarities.
● Generation of the corresponding applications for both iOS and Android
● The launches were accompanied by the generation of business dashboards, to be able to view the results in real time.
● Creation and configuration of sellers corresponding to each of the areas of the countries with customized location modes.
● Redesign of the new brand manual here fresher for web application in all countries.
● Cataloguing and maintaining the feed and loading of products
● Management and maintenance of personalized landings and push notifications for the App.

Based on Adobe Commerce we developed an end-to-end ecommerce solution complemented by an ESB as middleware and customized solutions for specific needs.
Looking ahead, and facing new stages and challenges, we have an eCommerce consulting process ahead of us to accompany the Cargill team in its growth. Also the generation of BI insights for the application of conclusions and predictive projections on the functioning of promotional actions on the web.
